One of the Oldest Museums in the world built in 1897 designed by the French architect Marcel Dourgnon of the Neoclassical style , which it is the first Museum in Middle East and Africa
The museum is unique in its presentation of the whole history of Egyptian civilization, especially of antiquities of the Pharaonic and Greco-Roman periods. It House a number of 100,000 items.

False Doors
The Museum has a large collection of what are known as false doors saved from dignitaries destroyed tombs in Saqara & Giza , locals always recycled the tombs stones but never did to the false doors which is always been believed it is the secret Chanel for the deceased’s soul to come to this world
